Professor Marion Saville AM is the Executive Director of the Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer. She has served on cervical screening advisory committees in Australia, New Zealand and Ontario and is a leading voice in cervical cancer prevention and elimination.

Australia is set to be the first country to eliminate cervical cancer and the Australian state of Victoria is striving to eliminate the disease before 2030.

Victoria’s cervical cancer mortality rate is 1 in 100,000, which is world leading.

The country is making such great strides towards elimination thanks of its national HPV vaccination program and the change to its cervical screening program.
