Khruangbin recorded a pair of songs live at Spotify Studios in New York City as part of the streaming platform’s Spotify Singles series.
The trio of guitarist Mark Speer, bassist Laura Lee and drummer Donald “DJ” Johnson.
Khruangbin’s session included their instrumental arrangement of “Khuda Bhi Aasman Se.” The song appeared in the 1970 movie Dharti. The soundtrack to the film directed by C.V. Sridhar, and starring Rajendra Kumar and Waheeda Rehman featured Mohammed Rafi performing “Khuda Bhi Aasman Se.”
