We’re spending Christmas Eve in Florida and making the most of a festive day around Walt Disney World. The morning starts with sunshine, Christmas outfits, and a visit to friends before heading over to Animal Kingdom Lodge to soak up the holiday atmosphere, spot animals on the savannah, and enjoy one of our favourite Disney snacks – the famous bread service at Sanaa.

From there, we make our way to Epcot on one of the busiest days of the year, aiming to experience Test Track and the Candlelight Processional. With long wait times and a breakdown along the way, Test Track turns into a much longer wait than expected, but the updated ride still delivers a thrilling finish. We then manage to catch part of the Candlelight Processional, narrated by a special guest, adding a proper Christmas feel to the evening.

Later, we hop on the Disney Skyliner for the first time with the family and head over to Caribbean Beach Resort for food, drinks, and one of the best bread puddings on Disney property. The night continues with a trip to Celebration to see the Christmas lights, snowfall, and beautifully decorated homes, and ends with ice cream to finish off Christmas Eve.

A full festive Disney day, packed with food, rides, holiday traditions, and Florida Christmas magic.
