Everlasting Summer, a visual novel playthrough.

I've always been fascinated by visual novels. Their art styles, their stories rich in emotions, philosophy, and commentary on everyday life. I had never really been able to find one that grabbed my attention long enough to play through or read through though. Well until now I suppose. Everlasting Summer looked really interesting on Steam. It's gotten overwhelmingly positive reviews but from what I can tell, despite it's status as a beloved anime visual novel, there aren't that many playthroughs of it on YouTube, even among channels that focus on visual novels. I love anything that's story rich and takes you into another world, so I figured why not record this new experience?


The game's official description:

Meeting Semyon, the game's main character, you would've never paid attention to him. Just an ordinary young man with thousands, even hundreds of thousands of those like him in every ordinary city. But one day something completely unusual happens to him: he falls asleep in a bus in winter and wakes up... in the middle of a hot summer. In front of him is "Sovyonok" - a pioneer camp, behind him is his former life. To understand what happened to him, Semyon will have to get to know the local inhabitants (and maybe even find love), find his way in the complex labyrinth of human relationships and his own problems and solve the camp's mysteries. And answer the main question - how to come back? Should he come back?
