About this video: In this video, we show you how to download and install Mekanism in Minecraft 1.15.2. This mod comes in three parts. The main Mekanism mod, and three expansions that add a lot of other cool stuff such as energy generators, special tools, and other awesome Mekanism Additions. We are going to be showing you how to install all of these Mekanism mods and more all in Minecraft 1.15.2. Thus, without any more delay, here is how to add Mekanism to Minecraft 1.15.2!

First and foremost, we need to download and install Forge. The reason for this is because Forge is required in order to run Mekanism for Minecraft. Luckily, we have an in-depth tutorial on downloading and install Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2 linked in the description above. It shows you everything you need to know in order to download, install, and setup Forge for Minecraft 1.15.2!

After you have Forge installed, it is time to download the Mekanism mod. Now, we also recommend downloading the Mekanism Additions, Mekanism Generattors, and #Mekanism Tools mods as well because these mods are going to give you the best experience possible out of Mekanism. Luckily, the download process is the same for all of the Mekanism mods. Just click the link in the description above to be taken to the official Mekanism download page. One you are there, look at the right-hand side bar until you see a ‘Minecraft 1.15’ section. Under that, you will see a version of the Mekanism mod that you are downloading. Click the purple download button next to it, and your download will begin in 6 seconds. You will need to keep/save the file depending on your browser.

Repeat the above process for the Mekanism Additions, Mekanism Generators, and Mekanism Tools mods. Again, I’d recommend downloading and installing them all if you want the full features Mekanism has to offer in Minecraft 1.15.2.

After you have all the Mekanism mods downloaded, it is time to get them installed. This is actually pretty easy. Just hit the Windows Key on your keyboard and ‘R’ at the exact same time. This will open up the ‘Run’ application. In the text box within this app, type ‘%appdataa%’, and hit enter. Your Roaming folder will open, and you will see a ‘.minecraft’ folder. Open that, and you’ll find a ‘mods’ folder. If you don’t have a mods folder, just create one. Open the mods folder, and now, drag-and-drop Mekanism, Mekanism Additions, Mekanism Generators, and Mekanism Tools into this mods folder. You have installed Mekanism in Minecraft 1.15.2!

You aren’t done just yet though! You still need to open up the Minecraft launcher, click the little arrow next to the ‘Play’ button, and select ‘forge’. Now, you can click play, and Minecraft 1.15.2 will open up with Mekanism installed in it in Minecraft 1.15.2!
