Eternal Sonata (PS3) - Serenade vs. Waltz and Ruined Body [Encore Mode]

Описание к видео Eternal Sonata (PS3) - Serenade vs. Waltz and Ruined Body [Encore Mode]

Getting this out there so that I can truly get started on (or at least try) a Serenade Solo at some point in time in the distance future. I plan to actually try a Polka Solo, but don't expect me to take it all the way to the end. Along the way, Allegretto might get sometime to shine, and if he does, it will be very brief (only during the "separation" section of the game). So, just to recap, I am doing Solo Runs for:

• Serenade
• Polka (which I don't know how long it will last)
• Allegretto (after the 2nd Tuba battle until he reunites with Polka)

Anyway, Count Waltz.

Count Waltz, Count Waltz, Count Waltz. What am I going to do with you. Straight away, he can inflict poison on you, AND NO!

I still haven't equipped any items yet, because I seriously keep forgetting. I'll remember to do so next time. Okay, moving on.

Waltz can inflict poison. Serenade has a very effective healing spell, but constantly healing would not only slow down the pace of the battle, but would eventually lead to Serenade's death. Here's the scenario:

A: Serenade does very little damage in order to heal repeatedly to counter the affects of poison. Waltz and Ruined Body then work together to counter Serenade's healing, so in the end Serenade will be killed by Waltz or Ruined Body anyway.

B. Serenade deals heavy damage and only heals a little bit to slow down the affects of poison. Waltz and Ruined Body then work together to beat up Serenade, and in the end, Serenade dies from... poisoning, I guess- It's never explained how poison works. I'm just gonna assume Serenade dies from suffocation or a heart attack or an asthma attack. I'm putting too much thought into this. Moving on.

There are two opponents here. Count Waltz, and what use to be Legato, who is now called Ruined Body, because just look at him. He doesn't look like a "Legato" to me. If you get surrounded by these two, only turn towards the most "life-threatening" of the two. Waltz can poison you, and Ruined Body will wreck you, so your chooses are quite evil. Ruined Body can lower your attack, and once his HP drops to a set amount, he will cast a self-regenerating boost to get some of that HP back. It's nothing special, and neither is Ruined Body (because Annihilator exists). This battle is all about Waltz, and I don't have much to say about him either.

I wasn't paying much attention, so I don't have much else to say other than he poisons you. Maybe some other time, okay? The video probably speaks more "words" than this description box anyway. Anything beyond this is a spoiler, but you probably know where this is going.
