When you overlook the vital, you end up with devastating results like “Drama in the Sky – Hang Gliding.” On his first day of vacation in Switzerland, one person wanted to see the picturesque scenery. Hang gliding off a 4,000-foot ledge was his idea for doing so. Since he had never hang-glided, he hired a pilot. Stepping off the ledge, he realized the pilot had made a critical error – double-checking his safety harness to ensure it was attached. The lesson is to stay harnessed to God's guidance for success and victory! We'll see many practical applications to apply to our health from them. Being disconnected is like this guy without his safety harness attached. He did live but broke his arm! The most important things we need to do shouldn't be a blur.

Ken Ellis is a survivor of diabetes for more than 60 years, being diagnosed during the fall of his first-grade year in 1960. For thirty years, he has facilitated hospital and community diabetes support groups, helping hundreds of people to manage their diabetes in several states.
