Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass | Ladakh Day 3 |

Описание к видео Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La Pass | Ladakh Day 3 |

Leh Day 3:
7th July, morning 9 am we checked out of the Odbar Guest House after having aloo parathas (not so good like day 1) and chai and headed to Nubra valley via Khardungla Pass.

On our way to Nubra valley via Khardungla pass, we had to stop at this mesmerizing view.!
Surrounded by snowcapped Himalayan ranges, Nubra valley lies sandwiched between Tibet and Kashmir. The view of the valley is picturesque and breathtaking.

The weather was perfect, 15 degrees Celsius during the day, a full hand top would suffice the need. We had taken an oxygen cylinder with us for travel to Pangong via Nubra. Oxygen cylinder will be available in Leh Market at Rs 1500.
Things you need to carry while travelling to Leh:
Sunscreen: The tanning is real.
Toilet spray sanitizer: public toilets can be risky.
Diamox tablet, medicines for. headache, fever: Consult your doctor, please.
Woolen caps, coats/jackets.
Cash: You will find very few ATMs and people usually don't use online payment methods.
Boots: For snow
Comfortable shoes: for your entire trip
Dry fruits, snacks: Far long stretches of barren land & mountains and no food stalls at intervals.
Water bottles: Try to carry your own.
Power bank: Must.

We were all very excited to see the snow and a couple of my friends were seeing snow for the very first time. There was a huge crowd to click a picture here, somehow @its_khande_graphy managed to get this frame clear! Big tick from my bucket list- Top of the world! The highest motorable road at 17982ft. We were hardly here for 15mins as it is advisable not to say longer at high altitude and @sushrutpatil07 our 'baba' (father) as we lovingly call him, was very concerned about all of us. So he made sure we click pictures and enjoy ourselves in the snow in less than 15 mins 🤪

We had late lunch at around 4 PM, half an hour before reaching Nubra valley. Had Chicken Thupka and Chowmein. And then continued our journey to the next destination White Sand Dunes!
Chicken Thupka usually costs around Rs 180 and Chowmein ~ Rs 120-180.
The chicken Thupka was so yum, not too spicy, the broth tasted very yum with minimal spices. There were tomatoes, chicken, onions, and local leafy vegetables boiled to perfection. The chicken was very tender.

Ohhh ATV driving over white sand dunes was super fun! And the view... Spectacular!
Frankly, it was not as good as the one we did in Dubai, however, if you are doing it for the first time, it's worth the experience. It cost us Rs 1500 per ATV for approx 15 mins.
This is the place where the 'Bhag Milkha Bhag' scene was shot.

Be Kind! Be Crazy! Peace! Yours truly ShaiTan :)
