This past weekend was very bittersweet. It was the 30th ,and final, Miracle Ride Foundation, Inc. benefiting ‪@rileychildrensfoundation1499‬ ‪@rileychildrenshealth‬ . Do to dwindling sponsorships and participation it was decided to end the ride as we know it. It will though continue to support the kids at Riley forever in the form of an endowment set up in the Miracle Rides name. In 2018 our friends at CollinsFlags.com made us a custom Miracle Ride flag to fly behind our #jeep as we led every Miracle Ride since 2018 with a Riley kid riding with us. We also carried the flag in our backpack around the world in 2020 while filming “The Pack” for Amazon Prime. It’s been in Mexico, Costa Rica, Ireland, Austria, Italy, on top of the Alps in Switzerland, and to the Eiffel Tower in France. It’s been all across the United States. Flying behind our Jeep around the ‪@indianapolismotorspeedway‬ , to going across the country on the famed #route66. It’s been to the arch in St Louis, the Grand Canyon, Zion National Park, Las Vegas,Hollywood, and everywhere in between. I’ve also had it autographed by my some of my famous friends along the way like Lindsey Vonn, ‪@JACKYLJESSEJAMESDUPREE‬ , ‪@lorrainelewis9‬ , ‪@AyronJonesMusic‬ , @alunserjr , ‪@KyleBusch‬ , ‪@nhra‬ drivers, and many more! We knew at sometime we would tell the flags story and donate it to be auctioned. After the passing of our little buddy , Kam,to a very rare illness this year we knew exactly what we wanted to do. We wanted to auction the flag off at this years Miracle Ride in memory of Kam and give his mom the money so she could take his ashes to Florida to spread on the beach since it was his favorite place. Our friends with Brotherhood of Bikers RC of NWI have been raising money all year to donate to the Miracle Ride during the auction. They had hopes of using their money to bid on the custom Miracle Ride Harley Davidson. Once they heard the story of our flag and what the money would be used for they bid $3000 on the flag as you can see in the video. They got the flag but they were then short on money to bid on the custom bike in the live auction . Our friends at Indianapolis Southside Harley-Davidson donate a Harley every year to be raffled off for the Miracle Ride. Well it’s amazing how things work out sometimes when you do good things but our friends with Brotherhood Of Bikers purchased some raffle tickets for the Harley and they won! We want to give them a huge THANK YOU for purchasing our flag and helping Kam’s mom get him to his final resting spot. It’s been an honor to be a part of the Miracle Ride over the years. We are truly grateful to them for allowing us to be a small part of it over the years. We are even more grateful for the amazing Riley Kids and families, volunteers, and bikers we’ve become friends with over the years. THANK YOU ALL! RIP Kam. We love you and we will always miss you. ❤️
