Note: correction to my comment at 2:40 where I'm explaining that the front belt guard is missing due to the fact that this machine had a gasoline engine. My error: the front belt guard, in fact, will fit when a gasoline engine is in place.

Please excuse the loss of audio when I am trying to explain the operation of the "water diverter pan" that is located under the wringer. For those unfamiliar with these old machines, the diverter shifts with the forward or reverse direction of the rolls, so that the water will return to the appropriate tub when running clothing through the wringer. A cam on the drive shaft of the lower roll pivots to direct the pan in the proper direction.
