MIXING TUTORIAL FOR REACTION & LARGE PEARLS. Acrylic pouring, Paint pouring, Fluid art, Flow art.

Full mixing tutorial for beginners to the pearl technique. (Please note the H20 ENAMEL IS UNAVAILABLE, please check the recipe below.) I will also share the most important advice I was ever given when I started my Fluid art journey. Watch as much as you like now as you can refer back to it later, but watch to the end for your reward.

DETAILS FOR YOU:
You may replace the Golden Gloss pouring medium with Liquitex pouring medium. We can not get GAC here in NZ.

Pearl colours; Pimary yellow-Pebeo, Phalo blue-Reeves, Burgundy-Jacquard Lumiere.

Pour-over colours; Pewter/Indigo- Jacquard Lumiere/Golden high flow, Silver-Jacquard Lumiere, Paynes Grey-Jo Sonja.

White Pearl mix:
1 part splashes gloss white water-based enamel
1 part (PM)
1/2 part Reeves fine artist acrylic titanium white
squirt Burnt Umber-Jo Sonja
large squirt Golden gloss pouring medium.
water to thin

Pouring Medium: (PM)
1 parts Golden gloss pouring medium
2 1/2 parts Aussie floetrol

Pearl Pouring Medium (PPM)
1 part Accent Strong base water-based gloss enamel (untinted)
1/2 part Golden Gloss pouring medium
1/2 part Floetrol

I add colour to my mediums until I am happy with them, I don't measure.
Water was added to Pearl colours for consistency.
No water is added to my pour-over colours unless using heavier-bodied paint, Reeves, Pebeo.
If water is needed I use distilled water, as leftovers keep better.
