Skills Alberta 2023 Video Production | GOLD | Lakeland College Canada

This is the gold medal winning entry in the 2023 Skills Alberta - Lakeland regional videography category. This video is produced by Jerico Manaloto and Lucas Feelay of Lloydminster's Holy Rosary high school.

This year's event required the competitors to produce a 60-75 second video for the following criteria:

Theme: The Skills Alberta Experience.
Target Audience: High School students. Potential future participants.
Goals/objectives: Encourage future participation in the competition.
- Provide visual and audio detail that conveys emotional experience of skills Alberta.
- Create narrative that conveys challenges, anxieties and exhilaration of competing
- Ensure overall tone positivity promotes Skills Alberta/Lakeland College brands.

Lakeland College Trades & Technology hosted the Skills Alberta lakeland regional event on March 9, 2023. The event featured high school students competing in automobile technology, baking, cabinet making, carpentry, culinary arts, electrical installations, video production, welding and hairstyling.
