“Unite the Hearts” — Ahlam Raffii | Week of Prayer for World Peace 2025
A luminous offering from the Elahi Tarani Project, this Arabic prayer from the Bahá’í writings—chanted by Ahlam Raffii—is a call for unity, strength, and divine guidance.
The phrase Elahi Tarani means “Thou seest me”—a reminder that in our vulnerability and longing for peace, we are always held in the gaze of the Divine.
English Translation (from Bahá’u’lláh):
“O my God! Unite the hearts of Thy servants, and reveal to them Thy great purpose…”

In celebration of the 51st Week of Prayer for World Peace, Interfaith Alignment and the Iona Community in collaboration with the Week of Prayer for World Peace committee are delighted to provide a digital resource for individuals and communities worldwide.

Leaders from eight different religious and spiritual traditions offer a prayer for each day of the week. Although one person could never represent the rich variety of each tradition, these leaders offer songs, prayers, and messages from the core of their practice. In choosing one tradition to represent each day of the week of prayer, we are also aware of the many whose voices and prayers are not represented this year. We uplift these particular prayers in honor of all who are seeking and in need of prayers for peace around our world.
