"Love Walks In" is a rock song written by the group Van Halen for its 1986 album 5150. It is one of the five singles issued for the album.

The song starts with Eddie Van Halen (lead guitar, keyboards) playing a slow synth, and kicks into the song. The song starts in the key of C and moves into F for the band entrance, then going to the relative Dm for the verses. The pre-chorus then jumps to Am, then in the chorus it goes back to C, keeping a cyclic structure. It charted at #4 on the US Album Rock Tracks and at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100.

The song has been stated by Sammy Hagar to have been written about an alien visit from his youth. Hagar claims that aliens downloaded/uploaded information into/from his brain in an attempt to learn about him. He further states that his soul may have jumped from his body and had been replaced by another soul during the self-claimed ordeal
