Margarita Jell-O Shots

2 Small or 1 Large Box (6oz or 170g) Lime Flavored Gelatin
2 Small or 1 Large Box (6oz or 170g) Lemon Flavored Gelatin
4 Packets (120g) Plain Unflavored Gelatin
4 Cups (950 ml) Margarita Mix
2 Cups (475 ml) Water, Boiling
2 Cups (475 ml) Tequila, Silver
1/2 Cup (120ml) Lemon Cello or Triple Sec
Kosher Salt
Sugar, Colored (Optional)
Limes
50, 2 oz (60 ml) Mini Party Cups

Note: This recipe is in 2 parts, and three phases. Read all instructions twice, or watch video a couple times so not miss any steps.

Lay out cups on sheet tray or other tray that will fit in your refrigerator.

In a large bowl pour out 2 packets unflavored gelatin. From 1 cup of the tequila, splash a bit over the gelatin to wet it. Allow it to soak while you make 1 cup of boiling water. Add water to the bowl with the lime flavored gelatin and gently stir until dissolved. Add 2 cups of margarita mix 1/4 cup of lemon cello or triple sec, and the rest of the 1 cup measure of tequila. Mix well, but try not to make bubbles. Place 2 tablespoons in each of the tiny glasses. Place in the fridge for an hour or until gelatin is set. Repeat the whole process with the lemon flavor, then allowing it to set. Enjoy!

For extra special party points, try this decorating. Before you party starts, slice your limes into rounds, then in half to half-moons. Mix your colored sugar and kosher salt 1/1 ratio. Wet the rims of the glasses with lime juice and touch teach to the sugar/salt mix. Garnish with a tiny moon of lime. Viola!
