Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum - Southern Railway 630 on the Missionary Ridge Local

Hello & Welcome to GT Rail Fan Productions!

On June 2nd, 2024, after chasing the first Summerville Steam Special Doubleheader of 2024 (which that YouTube Video Link will be below), C Henderson Rail Productions, Lane's Trains & I decided to ride and chase the Missionary Ridge Local with Southern #630. We started off at the Chickamauga Creek Bridge for the deadhead from East Chattanooga to Grand Junction. Lane's Trains & I decided to ride the first Missionary Ridge Local despite the weather, as rain showed for all day. So I included the shots that weren't ruined by the rain, but the main attraction on this first run was our buddy Jason was the Tour Guide/Speaker for the train! We got him giving all the history of SR 630 while turning on the turntable. After the 630 was turned, we joined the tour inside the Bob Soule Shops, and Jason gladly gave us the history of TVRM and the Bob Soule Shops. We had some fun with Jason as we left the Shops. He is The 'Nooga Railfan but I always joke and call him 'Nooga The Railfan. We then rode back to Grand Junction, and the rain seemed to die down a little bit more. We then got off, and joined back up with C Henderson Rail Productions, and decided to get staked out our shots of the next Missionary Ridge Local, which The Big Banana Railfan would join us. After getting 4 shots, we decided to go back to Grand Junction to ride the next train since C Henderson Rail Productions didn't get too, and the weather cleared up too which I was able to redo my shots from earlier. I then decided to get still footage of TVRM 610 & SR 6914 on display. We would then met up with Railfanning with Tydan again on the train, as we saw him the previous day chasing the Doubleheader! We then decided to get our final shots of the day before C Henderson Rail Productions & I said goodbye to Lane's Trains, headed back north home.
