Yesterday, I shared a video for splicing unsheathed paraglider lines. However, it was kind of rough. Here’s a better view of the process for beginners. Please do not rely on just the splice to hold without additional stitching, especially, if it is unsheathed dyneema. Unsheathed aramid, like shown in the video, holds really good without the extra stitching but for a temporary field line replacement, I would still use twice the normal tail length for a splice without stitching.
