IFR Approach Gone Wrong? Will we make the runway? | Pilot Vlog

What happens when things don't go as planned on an IFR approach. As a pilot, it is important that you always plan your approaches well in advanced and be prepared to communicate with ATC if you notice anything out of the ordinary. In this example, I should have been requesting a descent much further back. If I wasn't familiar with this IFR approach and the airport environment then I would have for sure had to go around and setup for another approach... hopefully at the proper altitude! Enjoy!
