Описание к видео Ev-Peak C1-XR// How to charge a lipo

In this video I'll explain step by step how to charge a lipo on the Ev-Peak C1-XR charger. This method also applies to all other 4 button chargers like the imax b6 or b6ac. I hope this helps some of you guys out!

Written transcript, I don't follow it exactly but it has all the information:

Hi guys,
Today i'll show you how to charge a lipo battery on the Ev-peak c1-xr.
intro
Before we start to charge our battery we should gather some info about it.
First we need to know how much cells our lipo has. This is usually written on the lipo itself as the amount of Sses. 1 cell = 1S 2 cells =2s eczetera…
If you don't see the amount of cells then you might see a voltage. Every cell has a standard voltage of 3.7v so you can just divide the voltage by 3.7.
If you see 14.8v you can divide that by 3.7 and you’ll see that it is a 4 cell battery.

The second thing that we need to know is the capacity of the battery. This is usually written in Mah. This means that a battery of 1500mah can supply 1.5amps of power for one hour and then its empty. 1 mah is 1000 times smaller than 1 ah.

Now that we have this information we can start charging our battery!

We are charging a lithium polymer battery or lipo so we need to go to that program.
Just keep pressing the most left button on the charger until you see “ program Select LIPO Battery”
Now you click on the most right button to select it.
I recommend to balance charge your lipo, this makes sure that all cells have the same voltage and that you don't overcharge one which is very dangerous and can lead to a fire or explosion!
To go to this setting you just press the buttons in the middle until you see Lipo Bal-Chg.
The next step is very important, now we need to give the charger some information about our lipo. This is the information that we gathered in the beginning.
To start configuring just click the most right button once.
The first thing that you need to set is the cell count. You can use the 2 buttons in the middle to set the number of cells and then click the most right button to confirm.
The second thing is the capacity, this is the amount of mah of your lipo. Again you can use the 2 buttons in the middle to set the amount. If your battery has an amount that you cant select you just pick the first option that comes next. For example is you have a battery of 1550mah you can just select 1600mah.
Once you entered the capacity you can press again to confirm. Now you have to chose at what power the charger will charge your battery. I recommend to just leave this the same as the capacity. But remember that this is in Amps while the capacity is in mA. Normally the charger should do this automatically.
You can press the most right button to confirm this.
Now we’re almost ready.
We just need to connect our lipo.
To do this you will need the right cable.
First you need to plug the 2 banana plugs into the charger, make sure to put them in their corresponding polarity. Red is positive and black is negative.
You can now plug in the battery and also its balance plug, this one goes into the connector of the same size on this little board.

Once everything is connected you can just longpress the most right button to start charging. You should here 3 beep. If it wont charge you’ve done something wrong and you should check everything again, the display will also tell you what's wrong.
