Korean Fried Chicken Wings 🍗
This is my mother-in-law's recipe that we used to make for all of the family gatherings. We also made them for family picnics and our visits to the ancestral graves. I was not a morning person and it was very difficult for me to get up early enough to fry over 80 pieces of chicken wings in the morning. So I would make enough sauce to last a year and I used to fry the chicken the night before. Just frying it once more in the morning made the chickens crispy and it also allowed me to sleep two more hours.

This is a great dish to serve on game night or to take for pot luck!


Ginger Soy Chicken Wings 생강 치킨

Chicken Wings Ingredients
Chicken wings and drummettes, 60 pieces
Sweet rice powder or potato starch
Ginger sake (Recipe:    • My Ginger Sake Recipe for Efficient C...  )


1. Wash chicken and let it drain.
2. Marinate chicken in a cup of ginger sake, with pinch of pepper. Let it stand for about 30 minutes.
3. Drain chicken. Coat chicken in sweet rice powder or potato starch.
4. Deep fry twice to make them crispy.
5. Roll the chicken in ginger soy sauce. Serve with pickles.
