TRANSFORMERS Animated BUMBLEBEE Original Versus Legacy United

Transformers Animated Bumblebee was a new take on the character and a new style of toy, as screen accurate in this case meant a cartoon style. But this Autobot hero has been reborn in Legacy United, and Captain Kyle compared the original to the new figure (and maybe throws in an Animated Activator as well).

Transformers Animated was a very different show that featured a more stylized art style and a brand-new story. The Autobots and Decepticons were released in screen accurate figures that represented the show characters quite well. Bumblebee, who was played by Bumper Robinson, was also a very different character than the G1 Bumblebee people were used to. But he wasn’t without his charms. Captain Kyle compares the original Deluxe-sized Bumblebee toy from the Animated line to the new Transformers Legacy United Animated Bumblebee and you decide which is better.
