I turned this original 1950s refrigerator into a pellet smoker. It’s being donated to the “Hero Golf Tour”, to be raffled off in Southern California in the next few months. This charity raises funds to pay for counseling for veterans and first responders. As explained in the video, the refrigerator was disassembled, ALL original insulation was replaced with ceramic 2500° insulation, and ALL plastic pieces were removed and replaced with steel. The refrigerator frame was reinforced with square tube, the inner shell is ceramic coated paint or steel, all sealant is commercial food grade safe, air duct tubing is brass plumbing (also food grade safe), and 600 lbs casters were add for easy movement. There is also a storage drawer added for all your barbecue accessories.
