Steve Collins reviews the Movenpick Resort & Spa in Jimbaran Bay, Bali, Indonesia.

A member of the Accor Group of hotels, the Movenpick is ideally located in the reasonably quiet area of Jimbaran Bay, which is quite near Bali's airport.

The resort is large and spacious and is a popular destination for couples and families alike. In fact, the resort contains a brilliant kid's club where the younger family members can be amused and entertained for ages whilst parents and older children enjoy the rest of the hotel facilities.

Including the expansive swimming pools, some of which contain real sand, where patrons can just relax, lay on a sun bed, swim or float to their heart's content, and enjoy a drink at the bar.

There is a restaurant and shopping complex adjacent to the property and Jimbaran Bay Beach is a short walk from the resort's gate.
