4th September ’23 Elm Tree
On this occasion, Ian Gelstone, on pipes, added another flavour to the session. Rachel Hales added to this with tunes on her fiddle. She plays the viola in other settings. Tom McConville and Andy played a Martin Matthews tune. Thanks, lads. Martin had been a leading light at this session. RIP Martin. The joint flutes of Trish and Martin, joined later by Isobel, were particularly sweet.
It’s great to see superb musicians sit and listen to others and clearly get enjoyment from new to them tunes. Respect.
