Telangana State Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao laid the foundation stone for CC roads and side drain projects in the 5th Division of Khammam city. He pledged to dedicate his full energy to the city's development, ensuring projects are built sustainably for future generations. The Minister also announced that Indiramma Houses will be provided for low-income citizens residing near sewage drains, and urban infrastructure will be improved to handle the rising population. He stressed the need to make Khammam a plastic-free city and warned the public about the increased risk of cancer due to excessive use of urea in fields, urging for greater public participation to control pollution.
