The great thing about DIY presents is that you can easily customise the design or characters to fit whatever insider joke you have with a certain person. For the bottle cap DIY I recommend using a higher quality air-dry clay because you need to sculpt some very small details. I made the mistake of trying to make my first version with very cheap clay and it didn't work at all. Cheap clay tends to contain a lot of paper fibres and melts when mixed with water. For this DIY you need a clay that turns smooth (not mushy!) when wet.
