A grenade flip cup is just like a regular flip cup, except a push pin is inserted somewhere around the bottom of the cup after the cup is flipped onto the canvas. When the pin is removed, there is an explosion of paint onto the canvas. This was my first attempt at this technique, and I'm pretty happy with the results.
