UWS-4 Aero Design, Part 1: Using "Simplified Aircraft Design for Homebuilders"

For the cold months of 2020-2021 we will work on a design for a new ultralight airplane called the UWS-4. We will use Dan Raymer's book "Simplified Aircraft Design for Homebuilders" as a guide for the design. This video series will only cover the aerodynamic portion of the design. There may be another video series covering the structural design. In this video we determine the following:
