I get asked about guitar strumming and singing at the same time ALL THE TIME. It’s something that so many beginner guitar players want to do, but many don’t quite have the patience to develop. The truth of the matter is, if you want to play guitar and sing at the same time, you strumming hand needs to be on automatic pilot or it’s not going to work.

In this guitar lesson, I’m going to discuss some tips and tricks for how to practice guitar strumming and singing at the same time. I also have a couple of tests at the end that you can run yourself through to see if you are ready to sing and strum your guitar at the same time, or if you need a little more practice.
