Hi There! Im Rhodes, and today we're in the Snippets Studio talking about Hero, Hub Hygiene or Help which is YouTube's recommended video strategy for brands.

So obviously there are 3 parts to this, Hero Videos, Hub Videos and Hygiene videos and the idea is that you create a different amount of each type of video for different purposes.

Hero Videos are videos of the videos that you want to push to big audience. You create 2 or 3 of them a year and they're real big hitters. You promote them on social media and you get as many people as you can to watch it. That video is all about getting out there to the people showing them that you exist bringing them back to your channel.

The next type of video is the hub video. Hub videos are the central point for all of those people who have been brought back to the channel. They are things like vlogs, stories, testimonials the things that keep people engaged. They speak to people's interests.

And lastly, we have the hygiene or the help videos. These are the videos that people are actually looking for. So they are the how to videos they’re the how do I fix that videos. Anything that they could be searching for, again this is another way to bring the people to your channel, help them find you, the SEO portion of the videos.

Although some of these concepts can be pretty straightforward it's a lot of work and that's what we do here at Snippet. We help brands understand the spaces where they need to create videos. We help them create those videos and get them to the right people.
