IDF Hits “400 Launchers,” Hezbollah’s “Deepest” Attack Jolts Israeli Settlers | N18G

The Israeli military announced that dozens of warplanes were “striking extensively” Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon late on September 21. The Israeli military said it “struck approximately 400 Hezbollah launchers, including thousands of rocket launcher barrels." The Home Front Command’s (HFC) restrictions came amid anticipation of a possible major attack by Hezbollah in the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, Heavy barrages of “over 100 rockets” were launched from southern Lebanon towards areas in northern Israel on September 22. This marked one of the deepest rocket attacks on Israeli targets since the start of ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ on October 7. Hezbollah launched 15 333mm long-range rocket artillery shells, with a 175-kg warhead, at the Ramat David Airbase in the initial attack, Al-Maydeen reported. If confirmed, experts say this would be the first time that Hezbollah launched an attack with such calibre of rockets at Israel since October 7.
