《La Vie en Rose/ 玫瑰人生》是有「法國小雲雀」稱號的著名女歌手，艾迪絲•琵雅芙（Édith Piaf）的代表作，由琵雅芙親自填寫歌詞，路易•古格利米（Louiguy）譜曲。

1946年，琵雅芙首次演唱了《玫瑰人生》。起初，人們並不認為這首歌會取得什麼成功，但很快，《玫瑰人生》就風靡了整個法國。這首歌也將琵雅芙推向了法國香頌天后的地位。不久之後，英文版本的《玫瑰人生》也被創作出來，馬克•大衛（Mack David）在原有旋律的基礎上填寫了英文歌詞，經由美國著名爵士樂歌手路易斯•阿姆斯壯（Louis Armstrong）的演繹，《玫瑰人生》也就成為了世界名曲。數十年來經過無數歌手的演唱、產生眾多的改編版本（比如香港歌手陳百強於1984年推出的舞曲《粉紅色的一生》）。

在琵雅芙後來的專輯中，《玫瑰人生》幾乎都是不可或缺的曲目。1998年，《玫瑰人生》被列入了「格萊美名人殿堂」，同年一部關於皮雅芙的紀錄片也以此命名。2007年，由瑪麗昂•歌迪亞（Marion Cotillard）主演的電影《玫瑰人生》講述了琵雅芙的一生，歌迪亞也因此榮獲了奧斯卡最佳女主角獎。

"La Vie en Rose" is the iconic masterpiece of the renowned French singer often dubbed as the "Little Sparrow," Édith Piaf. Piaf personally wrote the lyrics for the song, while the music was composed by Louiguy.

In 1946, Piaf performed "La Vie en Rose" for the first time. Initially, there were doubts about the song's potential success, but soon it became wildly popular throughout France. The song elevated Piaf to the status of a French chanson queen. Shortly after, an English version of "La Vie en Rose" was created, with Mack David adding English lyrics to the original melody. Through the rendition by the renowned American jazz singer Louis Armstrong, "La Vie en Rose" became a global sensation. Over the decades, numerous artists have covered the song and produced various adaptations (such as the dance remix "The Color of Life" released by Hong Kong singer Danny Chan in 1984).

In Piaf's subsequent albums, "La Vie en Rose" was almost always an indispensable track. In 1998, the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and a documentary about Piaf was also named after it the same year. In 2007, the movie "La Vie en Rose," starring Marion Cotillard as Piaf, depicted the singer's life, earning Cotillard the Academy Award for Best Actress.

While Piaf's masterpiece exudes a romantic and beautiful atmosphere that evokes the essence of love, her own life isn't as idyllic as portrayed in the song. In reality, Piaf longed desperately for love but could only express her longing through her music, as she often faced despair in her personal life.
