These are 3 things to keep in mind when positioning your model or posing as a model:

1. Keep your body upright: When posing, make sure the model's body does not look too saggy. Instead, the model should keep the body upright with some tension. Careful: too much body tension will look unnatural.

2. Turn your hands around: If you want the clothes and waistline to be more visible, try turning your hands around. This will minimise the effect your hands have on the shape of your body and reduce the amount of space your hands cover.

3. Don't rest the entire weight of your head on your chin: Rather than resting the whole weight of your head on your fingers, keep the fingers relaxed and make sure there is some space between the chin and hand. Don't overstretch your fingers either. Instead, keep them soft and round.
