Why Nurses Are Leaving Their Jobs: Burnout | Stress | Short Staff | 2021

What's good you guys, NWA Nurse Pat here! We out here in Spain and the S is silent...What I am seeing and hearing at hospitals (or atleast California hospitals) at this time is that we've been fairly short staffed. Nurses and CNAs are having to work overtime, double, or come in early. Some healthcare workers have left the field for a number of reasons. Primarily having to due with stress , burnout, and the uncertainty of the covid pandemic. I am still working at the an acute care hospital as a float pool RN.
