The new DAX function Window() is a new powerful tool in your Data Analysis tool pack.

This function will do a calculation across a set of table rows, that are connected to the current row.

This means that these functions help you to compare the current row to the previous row, do a calculation across multiple rows like for example a running total.

I our tutorial we will see a practical example for calculating a 30 day Moving Average. And we will compare it with the classical method using FILTER().
