Carbon vs. Aluminium - New Lightcarbon Rim Break Wheels

The Lightcarbon rim break wheels are aerodynamically optimized, having a 45mm deep rim profile and bladed CX-ray straightpull spokes from Sapim. I configured the wheels with DT Swiss 350S hubs which are durable, reliable and easy to maintain. For 700 USD, the total weight of around 1500g is very competitive and outvalues wheels of Roval, Bontrager, Zipp, HED and Mavic easily. The recently improved resin mixture of the breaking surface can now withstand even higher temperatures of up to 255 degrees celsius which should further reduce potential delamination issues. The breaking track further features machined grooves which aim to improve the breaking preformance of the wheels in wet conditions.
