作品について / Program notes:
Brass Conceptによる、ブラスアンサンブル曲集アルバムを制作するにあたり、新しい金管アンサンブルのアプローチをコンセプトに書き下ろした作品です。
金管アンサンブルのスピード感と豊満なサウンドが重なり合う、そのキャラクターを活かして、かつて春先の桜をめでながら繰り広げられた「花見をどり」の颯爽とした世界、あるいは艶やかな世界を、シンプルでありながらシンコペーションの利いた「調子」と「唄」で描いています。
曲はテンポの異なる3つの部分に分かれ、トランペットで示される軽快なテーマと、ユーフォニアムで示される「唄」のテーマを、全曲を通して構成しています。リズムと唄のコントラストの良い演奏を期待します。

This work was written as a new style of brass ensemble for the production of a CD album collecting other similar compositions. Utilizing the characters of animated sound and profound expression, the brilliant and fascinating world of the flower-viewing dance which once celebrated the opening of cherry blossoms in the early spring is captured in a simple tune and song with a strong effect of syncopation.
Tempos divide this song into three different parts. Also, the lively theme is presented by trumpet and the song theme by euphonium. I expect you to perform showing strong contrast between rhythm and melody.
