FLOW! SONY STR-DE425 - Reflow all solder joints. Relax and flow.

This unit came in with multiple problems with output. No center channel adjustment, A/B would only work if the other was off, subwoofer did not work at all and a few other issues. After disassembly noticed about 50 percent of the board had cracked/cold solders due to age and temperature changes. Reflowed all solder joints and replaced the center channel switches. Everything worked as supposed to after the repair.

This is usual for most amplifiers even car audio amps that get hot and cold often. A reflow of solder joints help to preserve the unit and components health.
