Gaz1 The Grand Duchy of Karameikos - the first BECMI Gazetteer set in the Known World (Mystara)

Gaz1, the Grand Duchy of Karameikos, was the first in a series of official TSR Gazetteers set in the Known World, a collection of nations on a continent that first appeared in the X1 The Isle of Dread adventure module.

This Known World was later developed into the Gazetteer series, becoming the official setting for BECMI Dungeons and Dragons, which later became known as Mystara from about 1994.

Gaz1 The Grand Duchy of Karameikos was written by Aaron Allston and published in 1987.
