BRISBANE BIRTHDAY WEEKEND I Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, Travel Vlog 102, 2021

To celebrate Beth's Birthday, her family arranged a weekend away...in Brisbane. It started with checking in to the swanky Calile Hotel in James Street, Fortitude Valley. After a welcome drink and a cheese platter, it's off to the 'Van Gogh Alive' exhibition in Northshore....claimed to be the most visited multi-sensory experience in the world and it was FANTASTIC!!! (actually, our video didn't do it justice).

Now, seeing as we're already at Northshore, we figured we may as well go to 'Eat Street' for a quick bite to eat. Later that evening, we popped into The Three Monkeys café (a family favourite) in West End for a piece of birthday cake and a coffee.

The next morning, after a swim in the beautiful pool at the hotel, we walked around the corner to Andonis cafe for a delicious breakfast. It was back home to the Sunshine Coast hinterland later that day....Beth had a great birthday ❤️ Hip hip hooray!!!! 🤗

Hi, we're Beth & Paul from Brisbane, Australia and we love to travel!

Paul retired on 28th February 2020 and on the 1st March 2020, we set out on a 6-month adventure around South East Asia. This was a well-planned once-in-a-lifetime travel experience! It was our intention to show you how you can have a great time travelling without spending a fortune.

Our timing wasn't great - with the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus and subsequent global turmoil less than a month into our trip.

Until it is safe to travel internationally again, we turn our focus on travelling around Queensland and sharing everything our beautiful State has to offer!
