HISTORIC BRITISH CASTLES AND MOUNTAIN TOWNS (Welsh Industrial History)

Last week I visited Chepstow, not far from my hometown Newport, where JK Rowling stayed in Tutshill from age 9 to 18.

I also found a viaduct that looks a lot like the one in Glenfinnan (well, don't they all?) and a few castles!

Moving into the South Wales Valleys, I explore the old mining town of Treherbert in the Rhondda Valleys, as well as the old iron and coal town Merthyr Tydfil, both of which are in heavy decline but whose heritage live on.

Oh, and it was cold. I cannot speak fluent English when it is cold, even though it is my native language.
