Three Common Herbicides – Family Plot

Описание к видео Three Common Herbicides – Family Plot

Phenoxy herbicides, glyphosate, and sethoxydim are useful for controlling different kinds of weeds in the garden and landscape. Retired UT Extension Agent Mike Dennison gives an overview of each kind. There are several phenoxy herbicides and they are all used to control broadleaf weeds. Because phenoxy herbicides generally won’t kill grasses, they are widely used in lawn care. Glyphosate is a broad-spectrum herbicide that kills most plants where it is applied. Sethoxydim is a grass killer that generally does not affect broad-leaf plants. In all cases it is important that the user read and follow the label directions. All of these chemicals can harm non-target plants if used incorrectly.
