Several smallholder farmers in Ottosdal in the North West have accused the Delareyville-based Tswaing local municipality of not following proper processes to exchange a municipal farm with another farm in the area.

The farmers were recently removed from the farm by another farmer who claims that he bought the farm from the municipality.

They were using the farm for planting crops and keeping livestock.
