The first couple of minutes show how quiet the beach was in the early 1970s. Also included on the footage is a old roadside bar with a rooftop terrace that looked onto on the road, possibly on Avenida Armada Española (about 02:55), the Hotel Jasmine Playa (about 03:20 - now called the Poseidon Playa), the Bolero Bar (about 04:40), Club 33 (about 05:14), a fiesta parade (about 06:40), the Three Musketeers bar (06:57), a parade and street market (07:00) and old Alicante airport (08:00).
