Why are some British moths on the rise? A tribute to Douglas Boyes

Earlier this month, we were deeply saddened to learn of the death of talented scientist and passionate lepidopterist, Douglas Boyes. Douglas had been due to deliver tonight's talk on his ground-breaking research into the impact of light pollution on moths.

As the natural history community mourns the loss of a passionate young researcher, we wanted to pay a special tribute. Tonight, we will share a talk delivered by Douglas for NHSN in 2020, alongside a personal tribute from Douglas's PhD supervisor and friend, Dr Darren Evans.

Donations to Butterfly Conservation are being encouraged in memory of Douglas. If you would like to support, please see visit: https://butterfly-conservation.org/ho...
