Grill Roasted Gyros with Tzatziki Sauce

Homemade fresh gyros roasted on the grill and served with pita, homemade tzatziki sauce, onions, and feta cheese. Roasted on Kamado Joe Big Joe but any grill can be used. Link to the tzatziki sauce recipe is listed below.

Ingredient list:
1 lb ground lamb
1 lb lean ground beef
1 medium red onion, minced, strained through cheesecloth (~1 cup after straining)
4-5 garlic cloves, minced
3 Tbsp fresh rosemary, minced (or 1 Tbsp dried and crushed)
1 Tbsp dried marjoram (or 3 Tbsp fresh, minced)
2 tsp coarse salt
1/2+ tsp black pepper
pita bread
feta cheese
extra onion for topping
