Grantham's Hidden Secret - River Witham

Grantham, might be a town steeped in rich historical and cultural heritage and famous as the birthplace of Margaret Thatcher, the first female Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, and the schooling town of Sir Isaac Newton, one of history's most influential scientists but it is also a great place for a stroll along the River Witham. This really is a gem of a walk along the banks of the River Witham. It is 2 miles each way and an extra half mile if you take in a lap of Dysart Park to give a total just short of 5 miles. It is easy going, flat and paved throughout.
