Lahore Medical Dental College

LMDC is one of the main medical colleges present in Lahore and is also one of the oldest private medical colleges as it was actually formed in 1997. As is necessary for medical colleges, LMDC is recognized by PMDC as well as UHS meaning to gain admission here, you will have to give MDCAT.

LMDC has three hospitals associated with it which are Doctors Hospital, Surgimed Hospital and Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital. It is located in Tulspura.

3. Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College

Akhtar Saeed Medical and Dental College is one of the best private medical colleges in Pakistan so it features here in this list as well.It is located in Bahria Town Lahore. It was established in 2008 by Dr Farooq Saeed Khan.

The college has only one campus which cover 2.5 acres of land. The university is affiliated with UHS, PMDC and University of the Punjab. Hence to apply for this college, you have to give MDCAT.

4. Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine and Dentistry Lahore

(FMHCMD) as it is sometimes known is a private medical college located in the Shadman region of Lahore. It was founded in 2001 in the honor of Fatima Jinnah and is accredited by PMDC and is affiliated with UHS meaning MDCAT is needed to apply in this college.

There are a number of hospitals attached with FMHCMD for training including Fatima Memorial Hospital, Hijaz Hospital and Khair-Un-Nisa Hospital.

UOL as it is most commonly known is one of the most famous private medical colleges located in Lahore and it was founded in 2002. It is located on Defence Road, Lahore and is a part of the University Of Lahore.

It is affiliated with UHS and was accredited by PMDC in 2007 as well. There are a lot of hospitals attached with it for teaching and clinical training such as Nawaz Sharif Social Security Hospital, Al-Khidmat Hospital, University Dental Hospital and University Teaching Hospital.
