installing eco hubs on a1078 lmtv / fmtv

Описание к видео installing eco hubs on a1078 lmtv / fmtv

After doing the other 3 wheels I recorded this, this is my first diy video, I am not a pro, just didn't see any videos out there when I went to do this. forgot to add the snap ring back in, just take the outer cap off and grind it down a little and put them back on the back axle. front axle is the same steps without the snap ring. I didn't record the hour and a half of cleaning all the old and new surfaces, but make sure everything is clean. I lifted the rear axles to 5.5 degrees with was plenty to keep the gear oil from running out of the axle. let it sit there for 48 hours and switch sides. Also afterwords clean the threads and torque all the bolts to spec, add a little lock tight as well.
the first one I put in backwards, so hopefully this helps someone, the bevel faces inward, not outward like I originally figured, so the welded plate sits inside the hub.
the muffler is down because I am also working on the trans, the dreaded c6 thrust bearing broke. May have a video on that coming up.
