Garmin nüvi GPS Shutting Off ~ Battery Not Holding Charge ~ Replacement (3790T, 3790LMT)

In this video we go thru the symptoms of a defective rechargeable Li-Ion battery in a Garmin nüvi GPS unit, and how to replace that battery. When the battery exhibits the symptoms we cover in this video, you can expect random powering off when connected thru the vehicle 12V power adapter cable. The model illustrated is the nüvi 3790LMT, but this video would directly apply to the 3790T as well. It should also apply to several other Garmin nüvi models that utilize the same OEM Garmin 361-00046-02 battery such as the nüvi 3700, 3760T and 3760LMT.
